Unoaked/Stainless steel fermented chardonnay from the Emerald Pool Block with balanced acidity and great pairing versatility.

Stunning fruit is found in this opulent unoaked chardonnay from the Emerald Pool Block. This year we harvested early and had an effortless fermentation. Hints of honey with notes of coconut complement muted tropical flavors. Playful minerality supports its structure. Shellfish and thick fish fillets pair brilliantly while rich cheese like Epoisses and Brie are sublime counterparts.

Neutral french oak and sur-lies aging with aggressive batonnage combine to impart aging potential or pairing with game and white meats.

Sagebrush Winter White can be consumed all year long. It conjures up thoughts of “blancheur l’hiver”, the first dusting of winter snow.

A full bodied wine with tremendous palate coating mouth-feel, it continues to remain remarkably versatile. Honeyed notes of tropical fruit merge with balanced acid. Sur-lie aging with aggressive battonage and a mineral backbone will allow for good aging potential.

This year, this is our crab and lobster wine. Don’t hesitate with oysters, veal and game birds. If not with a meal, a ripe camembert or marcellin will do. Rich and brilliant fruit remind you that summer will soon be here.

This incredibly balanced syrah from a blend of grapes from Whitehawk and Thompson vineyards are the ultimate California expression of Cold-climate syrah.

This cuvee from our two favorite vineyards in Santa Barbara evokes memories of comfort of a fall day back East and beyond. Exotic spices, smoke, black pepper, cough syrup and plum permeate the velvet finish of this full bodied wine. Whether barbecue or braised meats, duck confit or cassoulet, brilliant acid complements exceptional fruit.

We harvested early in 2008 and were impressed by the berry set and fruit quality. This wine can be enjoyed for years to come.

This unoaked Chardonnay made from cool climate grapes combines
the best of new world fruit and old world technique. Early harvest at the
Emerald Pool block allowed these grapes to escape the smoke of heavy seasonal wildfires. Citrus flavors, with a hint of brioche and pineapple are supported by a mineral backbone, allowing for refreshing crispness. This year’s wine pairs well with shellfish and chevre.

This Chablis-styled chardonnay made from cool climate-harvested grapes combines the best of new world fruit with old-world technique. Hints of apricot, white peach, and honeysuckle are complimented by balanced acidity and a long-lasting finish. Sur-lie aging provides an outstanding complexity to this full-bodied wine. Crispness and a mineral backbone predominate. It pairs perfectly with shellfish, risotto with white truffles, and robust cheeses.
